Great recipe Woody I'll make it Tomorrow one thing I thought I'd mention because I'm on keto now for 7 months and got my slim body back is that chopped bacon pieces would be better than ham. Ham is pink because they add inject a chemical salt into it and other cured meats hotdogs etc and this is very unhealthy. Only problem is it's a waste of time using alloy can you should only be using nice couple Oz nugget of gold it's not going to be even half that easy to pick gold up if you really been detecting 40 years you should know not to use anything else but gold 😜

Woody, Garrett just released their new Vortex VX9 detector. It looks like a coin machine (I haven't looked into it, but there are videos on UA-cam about it and also on the Garrett web site. Maybe this is the detector you heard rumors about?

Woody, does Minelab outsource the manufacture of their outer cases, i.e., the injection molded cases? If so, I'd bet that the counterfeiters probably get their outer cases from the same production facility. They may get them "legally," or "illegally" through the back doors.

great info mate like if you wanted to make a nugget finder coil say 15 inch , how many windings would you do on that , 19 windings, ??? and are the windings the same in every coil, is the coil more better with more windings or less , sorry about a lot of questions not tec savy but you make it so interesting the way you explain stuff as i not good at reading and writing but good with my hands making stuff can normally nut things out, a bit of trial and error and testing

Woody the pin contact on the 6000 sometimes do not make contact or turns off on mine and wifes. I just disconnected the battery and pop it back into the detector. Could be an alignment problem.

Love deep sockets and long screwdrivers.

is there any direction which way to put the capacitor on it or doesn't matter which leg is on power and the other on earth, o and can you paint the inside of the case in graphite paint to to help quieten it down
